Five pedestrians including crossing supervisor hit in Manningham

I’ve often felt shopping centre car parks are accidents waiting to happen. On one occasion I checked all around the vehicle and then started to reverse when a person came out from behind another car and walked past the back of my car. Often all it would take is for a  number of walkways to be placed in car parks for pedestrians. For example in The Pines in the underground parking area there is one walkway. There needs to be more. Ultimately it is the driver that needs to be more careful, but small children walking behind the many four wheel drives in the area is a real concern. Outdoor tables and seats going all the way up to cars forces people to walk behind cars and again creating a situation  where accidents can happen.
